Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo unite to create file transfer service

Xiaomi announced today that it has joined hands with Oppo and Vivo to create AirDrop like file transfer service among the three brands. This service is still in beta and will help users to share photos and documents with a click or swipe.

This service or App will be using Bluetooth of the device to share the content. It is expected to achieve the speeds of 20 MB/s, which is pretty good for Bluetooth sharing. Currently only three companies are there in the alliance but Xiaomi is open if other companies are interested to join. Realme and Redmi may also join as their parent companies are already part of the alliance.
