Xiaomi launched their sub brand Poco with a punch by offering a flagship level device at a budget price. The Poco F1 can easily be called as a ‘flagship killer’ which once was used by OnePlus when they launched the OnePlus One.
Talking about the Poco F1, the flagship grade phone comes with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chipset. Xiaomi has focused especially on the speed and with 6/8 GB of RAM paired with Snapdragon 845, they will definitely be able to achieve that.

The new phone has a 6.18” LCD with a notch and Full HD+ resolution (2246 x 1080 pixels in 18.7:9 ratio). The front of the F1 lacks any physical buttons, but there is infrared sensor for face unlock tucked in the notch. The panel is protected with a Gorilla Glass but the exact version is still unknown.
The Snapdragon 845 has an octa-core CPU running at 2.8 GHz, an Adreno 630 GPU, and h either 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM. The three storage options are 64GB, 128GB and 256 GB.
Xiaomi has used LiquidCool technology in their latest offering which won’t let the phone heat up even after long gaming sessions.
Talking about the camera, Poco F1 is equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor (borrowed from Xiaomi Mi 8) has a pixel size of 1.4 micron coupled with 5-megapixel secondary sensor is present on the backside of the Poco F1. Xiaomi Pocophone F1 boots MIUI 9.6 based on Android Oreo, but it is actually a modified version. Called MIUI for Poco and packing a new Poco theme, it actually looks and behaves very similarly to the Nova Launcher. It should receive MIUI 10 shortly with Android Pie to follow within the next three months.
The battery of the F1 surely is impressive – 4,000 mAh capacity with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 capabilities with a QC3 charger in the retail box.
Pocophone F1 comes in three color variants – Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Rosso Red. There is a fourth option called Armored Edition that has a Kevlar back for better grip and higher scratch-resistance.
